| Boston did not totally destroy its
streetcar lines with the coming of the automobile and the bus. Riverside
is the last station on the MBTA Green Line which actually follows the
route of an older commuter rail line. The line goes past a reservoir,
through the Fens, and thence into the old Boston subway. In view is one of
the Kinko Saryo cars manufactured in Japan. Summer, 1993. CAMERA:
