| As I was leaving work several of us
watched as this squall line worked its way southward across the
Connecticut shore from the north and coincidentally overran the Millstone
Nuclear Power complex near Niantic. I was in awe of the churning and
boiling clouds as they moved silently overhead. I grabbed my camera from
the car and this on one of the series of shots I took that day. The drum
shaped structure is Millstone Unit 3, a 1200 megawatt nuclear reactor with
its turbine housed in the large building to the right.
